Dear fellow citizens,

Welcome to the updated website of the Larnaca Sewerage and Drainage Board, a site which we aspire for it to become a source of online information for citizens.

Our objective is for the new website to be constantly improving so that it will offer all citizens direct, high quality services, providing useful information regarding our city’s sewerage system, the course of the construction contracts, as well as information regarding technical, financial, administrative and other issues concerning our Organisation.

The Larnaca Sewerage and Drainage Board’s main mission is to construct, operate and manage the sewerage system of the wider Larnaca region, this way contributing to the improvement of the residents’ quality of life, having as a main objective to always optimize and make full use of renewable resources such as recycled water and bio-sludge. For this reason, the Board, after completing the construction of Phase A of the sewerage system during the period between 1993 and 2001, proceeded with the works of Phase B, which are expected to have been completed by the end of 2020, thus covering the entire municipal area of Larnaca, the Dhekelia tourist area and part of the Aradippou Municipality. At the same time, the construction works for Phase C of the sewerage system, which will cover the road leading from Dromolaxia to Meneou and the communities of Kiti and Pervolia, are expected to commence within 2019.

Furthermore, the LSDB also aims at expanding the flood protection works in the Larnaca city area and this will be effectuated by commencing the construction works for the two large flood-protection pump plants (S8 & S9) and their relevant networks.

Our vision is for the LSDB to become a modern authority providing quality services to tax payers, thus managing to serve the needs of our fellow citizens to the fullest. For this reason, we aim for the LSDB website to be used as a communication and information tool, offering digital services to citizens. In line with this effort, it will be our pleasure to receive your own observations, ideas and proposals that will make our website complete and more user-friendly.
